Cyd & Nate’s beautiful wedding took place at Whisper-n-oaks near Eugene, OR. It was a beautiful Oregon summer day with the late afternoon sun streaming through the Cottonwood Trees. If you’re looking for an outside venue with lots of space this is a great option. We were able to roam around and take photographs and have so many different backdrops all in one location. A rarity at most venues. I had a great time and was honored to be their photographer.

Jessica & Chris — Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Oregon

When I woke up the morning of Jessica & Chris’s wedding I knew that some of their original plans to be married outside were dashed. It was raining on Mt. Hood that morning and a think layer of clouds covered the lodge for most of the day. I expected some panic, however, when I arrived there was none. Both Jessica & Chris were calm and relaxed, ready to get married, and not at all worried about the weather. Awesome. All the arrangements shifted indoors and the staff at Timberline Lodge did an excellent job of accommodating the change. They got married indoors and had plenty of space to spread out and make the lodge their own. It was a fantastic ceremony and wonderful reception. Congratulations Jessica & Chris!

Laurel Ridge Winery in Carlton Oregon is one of my favorite locations for photographing weddings. There is so much scenery and the rolling hills are a perfect backdrop for any size wedding. Summer & Tyler tied the knot there this summer and I was privileged enough to be their photographer. Thought I would share some of my favorite photos from their wedding. Joseph & LeeAnna — Portland Backyard Wedding

My good friend Joseph proposed to his long time sweet heart LeeAnna and had the most beautiful backyard wedding I have ever witnessed. It was truly an honor to be their photographer, even though they really didn’t want me to. The problem is when you give me good things to photograph, well, I just can’t put down the camera.

The whole day was beautiful and everyone was encouraged to bring a pie for the reception after the ceremony. I’ve never had so many delicious pies. It reminded me of Sundays after church when the ladies would make lunch and bring a table full of pies. All the kids would eat about two scoops of spagetti and a plate full of pie. That’s kinda what we did at their wedding.

Aiden; Newborn Photos, Beaverton Oregon

This is Aiden, a fantastic little guy who I had the pleasure of taking photos of. He has a watch-cat, Baxter, who made sure that I was behaving myself around “his” new friend. Aiden is the newest addition to the Airhart family and the proud parents had begun a baby book from ultrasound photos to now. Hopefully these photos I took made the cut and are placed as new entries in the book. Congratulations to you both…and to Baxter.

Tom & Liz — Omaha Nebraska

While I was in Nebraska photographing a wedding I got in touch with friends in Omaha for some dinner and a quick set of family photos. It’s awesome to see their little girl growing up so fast. She has such a great personality and was not shy around the camera at all. So full of laughter and just darn cute! Hope to see these three again soon.
